I’m excited to let you know I recently completed 2 designations, the Elder Planning Counsellor (EPC) and the Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA).

These designations are unique in that they apply multidisciplinary knowledge of the aging process and aging issues to identify the most appropriate options and solutions for seniors’ individual needs and best interests to improve their lives.  They address the age-related changes we experience and focus on health care, legal matters, financial planning considerations, social aspects, long term care as well as end of life issues facing a maturing population.  They enrich the knowledge and identify how professionals in different industries can provide a more relevant service and work with elders to understand the specialized needs of individuals as they age.

For millions of families, elder planning has become life’s most important financial challenge.  Whether you’re concerned about your own future, your loved ones or if you are younger and are now facing the new challenge as your parents age, every one of us is impacted by the needs of elders.   To plan successfully for aging as we progress through life, coordinated and knowledgeable action is essential.  I can partner with individuals and their families facing lifestyle changes, to make more informed decisions by helping them determine which options will best meet their needs based on considerations including health, lifestyle and financial concerns that come with illness or aging.  Often these areas of concerns are intertwined.

I believe that offering information and support to individuals, loved ones or caregivers facing these types of life transitions, is an holistic and common sense approach to helping.

Please let me know if you have any questions and how I can help you.
